What size Laundry Board™ do I need?
The Standard (55") board fits all standard 27" washers and dryers and is the most common size. The Large (57") board fits all 28" washers and dryers, including most GE units. If you’re unsure, simply measure the width of your washer and dryer units.
What are the full dimensions?

How much space should there be between my washer and dryer?
Laundry Boards™ are designed around a 1" gap between the units. Most modern sets already fall into this range, and the adjustable feet help you dial in the fit.
How do the adjustable feet work?
Each board includes rubber leveling feet with multiple mounting positions. This allows you to match different appliance depths so the board sits level and secure.
What are the boards made of?
Each Laundry Board™ is crafted from solid hardwood, never veneer, particle board, or laminated panels. You can choose from Maple, Oak, or Walnut, each finished with a clear protective coating that highlights the natural grain.
Will my board look exactly like the photos?
Because these are made from real hardwood, the grain pattern and color may vary slightly from piece to piece. These natural differences are expected and part of what makes every board unique.
How do I care for my Laundry Board™?
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth when needed. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, or soaking. Gentle everyday cleaners are safe. Treat it like any other piece of fine wood furniture.
Can the wood shift over time?
Like any solid hardwood, slight movement with changes in humidity is normal. This does not affect performance, and the leveling feet allow quick adjustment if needed.
How long will shipping take?
Orders normally ship in 2–3 weeks depending on current inventory and production. Some combinations may ship sooner if already in stock.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat $50 to the lower 48 states. Free local delivery is available in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina and will appear automatically at checkout for eligible addresses.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your board arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us right away at info@laundryboards.com with photos. We’ll make it right.
Do you accept returns?
Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days as long as the board is unused and in its original packaging. You can start a return by emailing info@laundryboards.com.
Is there a warranty?
Laundry Boards™ are backed by a one-year craftsmanship warranty covering defects in materials and construction.
